Poor old Jess (I can't believe I'm typing these words) feels so underappreciated by her awful family that she falls for the extremely dubious charms of sensitive bad boy Nicky. Meanwhile, Ned and Liz are basically competing to see who can be most unethical, and we learn that the Sweet Valley News will employ children as family court reporters.
