Pinterest has a superpower: it can read its users' project boards and hence... predict the future! Why so? Simply because 400 million people use the platform as a mood board to prepare for their upcoming plans.


Now, if you gather and summarize that data, you can get a glimpse into the future: Pinterest does this every year with their "Predict" reports, and their track record is insane. 80% of their predictions turn out to be true!


So, when in this year's edition, I saw a water prediction, I thought we should have a deeper look at it and share thoughts on what it may be changing.
