Mother and daughter team, Barbara and Lauren Rapaport, have been fighting Type 1 Diabetes since 1979. They volunteer together and individually for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, or JDRF, and even helped found the Washington, D.C. chapter for this international nonprofit.
