so many folks don\'t actually understand what a fully trained dog is. So when folks say they don\'t want a mechanical dog, okay, dont get one from MIT, but I am not sure what you are actually talking about.

One of our board and train dogs who was owned by a dog breeder, handler, trainer and show person got a dog that was not from her litter and it was totally different than any of her previous dogs that she has been showing for the last 40 years, leash reactive, constant nose on the ground, could not walk her, and a host of other issues, she could not even show her and this is a very experienced show handler and trainer and knowledgable about the cocker spaniel breed. She brought the dog to us and she finally showed the dog and she got her first titles on the dog. We are so proud of Terri and Pippa.

I am out in San Diego and they have a little white fluffy dog, maybe 15#, it explodes at other dogs, she walks it on a harness, i mind my business, i don\'t train my families dogs but the dog explodes when it sees other dogs, so she crosses the street when she sees other dogs, i told her this was bullshit so i showed her a simple one second technique and we walked by the dog.

so many folks are seeing happy go luck dogs, playful dogs, friendly dogs without even realizing there are so many dogs that are the polar opposite, we live in that world and that is why our content is what it is, the philosophy is what it is (even though much of our philosophy is great for all dogs) so many folks just don\'t understand out world, that is one of the reasons for the negativity to how we train.

Folks are taking basic obedience classes 5-6 classes where dogs learn basic commands, maybe they go to an advanced class and do another 5-6, they get their piece of paper and then are surprised when their dog does something it wasn\'t supposed to do, something simple or something more extreme, what where you expecting and why did you think your dog was even close to trained for the real world.
