A bilingual documentary on Scoil Eanna - the boy’s school founded by 1916 leader Padraig Pearse. Pearse was committed to the preservation of the Irish language. The school would prove to be a success but would never escape the shadow of its founder, its financial woes, relocations and police raids. (First Broadcast 1979)
