Woke Italian Man ees'a so sorry! More Survivor talk, and then everybody gets all mad about Go-Fund-ing Captain Marvel. This leads to a deep dive on corporate charity as consumption absolution.
Then everybody gets all mad about the Scholastic Book Fair. What a shitshow.
Merlin shares an anecdote and cries a little (mark your BINGO card). Shit is complicated. Alex says she went to a gross private Catholic school that also invited capitalism in. Max recalls how you could tell who had money for Big Ski. Also, Max's school had a Jewish book fair. They sold megillas and biographies of directors.
This week's challenge is Alex's and it involves a cyber headband.
Apparently, Will Shortz is now problematic.
Merlin has backstory on the headband and why he got one.
Then, the gang takes a little trip to Hogwarts where we find Snape volunteering to help out at the book fair. [Insert fart noise]
