DJ DISCIPLE LIVE IN WILLIAMSBURG 02- MARCH 19, 2022 DJ Disciple (David Banks) is a Brooklyn-based house music DJ with decades of hits in the industry. Having spent several years building his reputation with explosive sets at Pacha (Ibiza) and Ministry of Sound (UK), he was named one of the world’s top 100 DJs by DJ Magazine. His Grammy-nominated 2002 hit single “Caught Up” was also featured on the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart. After appearing on MTV and BBC Radio 1, Disciple has certainly made his mark on the house music scene. In 1997, he started his own record label, Catch 22 Records. This year marks his 25th year of making music with Catch 22. Despite the 2020 lockdowns in New York, DJ Disciple’s artistic freedom could not be stifled. Seeing as restaurants had become the major platform for DJs to thrive as artists in New York, he continued his residency at Martha’s Country Bakery in Williamsburg.
