Show Notes

On this week's special Thanksgiving episode, Sara sits down with country music legend Tracy Lawrence! Tracy shares how music came easy to him once he decided to teach himself guitar off the back of a church camp book. He never pictured himself performing for the masses, but is beyond grateful for the life he has built around it. The two of them also discuss Tracy's 19 year strong charity, Mission Possible, which provides meals to the homeless community here in Nashville during the holidays. Tune in to hear more about Tracy's journey in music, his family life, and what their favorite Thanksgiving dishes are!   Listen to Unbroke: (https://ffm.to/seunbroke)   About Tracy Lawrence: One of several rock-tinged honky tonk singers who rose to fame in the early '90s, Tracy Lawrence has gained a loyal audience for his mix of modern and traditional country sounds. Born in Atlanta, Texas, in 1968, Lawrence was already a fixture of his local honky tonk scene by the time he was a teenager, and after college, he moved to Nashville where he worked on honing his craft while working various day jobs and competing in talent shows. His breakthrough came in 1991 with the release of his first song titled Sticks and Stones, which set the stage for a career that would see him land 40 singles on the Billboard Country charts. Among them are the chart-topping hits "Can't Break It to My Heart," "My Second Home," and "Find Out Who Your Friends Are."   LET'S BE SOCIAL:   Follow Tracy Lawrence: Instagram -( @therealtracylawrence  ) TikTok - (@tracy_lawrence) Facebook - (@therealtracylawrence) Youtube - (@therealtracylawrence) Website - www.tracylawrence.com   Follow Diving in Deep Podcast: Instagram -(@divingindeeppod) TikTok - (@divingindeeppod) Twitter - (@divingindeeppod) Facebook - (@divingindeeppod)   Follow Sara Evans: Instagram - (@saraevansmusic) TikTok - (@saraevansmusic) Twitter - (@saraevansmusic) Facebook - (@saraevansmusic)   Produced and Edited by: The Cast Collective (Nashville, TN) YouTube - ( @TheCastCollective ) Instagram - (@TheCastCollective) Twitter - (@TheCastCollective)   Directed by: Erin Dugan Edited By: Sean Dugan, Corey Williams, & Michaela Dolph https://www.thecastcollective.com See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
