Sophie’s running things right now, not only on account of her fantastic and unique series Alma’s Not Normal, but through pure hard work and an individual, very real eye through which she filters what’s happening out there. She and Pip get into all of it, including her work on The Circle, being mates with Jayde Adams, Bolton, shining light on the past and honoring real people from real places, working class backgrounds, being introduced to John Waters and Mike Leigh through her grandma, past job, Rob Parker, going against ‘safe’ lineups in casts, charity work and so much more besides - if you don’t know Sophie, prepare to make a new pal right here.
