This was originally recorded on camera but there was also a mic in the middle of the room - though as you will hear, it's a bit of a recording sandwich with the slightly more decent recording forming the bread and the slightly more raw camera audio forming the filling. Follow? Nice. It's a really cool chat, incredibly freeform and without defined topics and certainly not recorded with the shape and craft you might expect of late-era Distraction Pieces. But think of it as the 'Distraction Pieces Basement Tapes' - a lively chat of varying audio quality which functions nicely as a time capsule. It's also uncanny hearing about predictions for the following decade - eerie how much has been manifested since... The audio has been cleaned up a touch but sometimes with this kind of sound, things can get worse the more you try and scoop out of it, so just allow your ears to get familiar with it and you'll be grand.
