An excellent chat with the very awesome Emerald, whose work you will likely have caught up with over the past few years in any one of her many capacities. Playing Camilla on The Crown, writing on Killing Eve, or writing and directing 2020's brilliant Promising Young Woman. Here we catch up with Emerald in promotionland to hear about her new film Saltburn, which we'll see in cinemas around mid-November. But as you will know from this podcast, it's not as basic as simple promotion - Pip gets into a lot of the mechanics of Emerald's world, including process, world building, reference, inspiration, small and big screen, casting, personal idea hierarchies, and so much more.
