This week Pip is joined by the one man standing on a chair troubadour favourite Beans On Toast, to get right into the ins and outs of how to refer to each other in terms of alter-egos and government names, to play solo or as a duo (and whether the Beans On Toast monicker applies to solo or band), the ascent from gigging locally to casually rocking arenas and now cruises, the appeal of festivals and a life of attending them, whether it’s a 9th or 10th anniversary of his first album, being the DMX of folk music (word to Pip on that one!), touring in a minimal fashion, attitudes towards newer music, not being married to your ideas, social media and a world of convo besides.
