The church has fought against LGBTQ rights for at least the last 30 years. Getting involved in legislation in many states and at the federal level to make sure that they can continue to discriminate against people based on their sexual orientation and gender identity. They were successful in many of those fights, at least for a short time. But as time goes on we see that they continue to lose, to backtrack and to realize that this is a battle they will never win. We believe that either they fully embrace same sex marriage and allow it in their temples or the church will become obsolete in the next 15 years. I guess we’ll see.
