Dave had a tough upbriging, but joined the Canadian Armed Forces at a fairly young age, rose up to JTF2 where he deployed to Afghanistan, later leaving the unit to become a private contractor - then *rejoined* the unit. After leaving once again, Dave became a police officer, eventually moving to undercover work, where, like in his other careers, he stopped terrible people from doing terrible things.
