Comedian and Writer Laura Severse comes by and asks Danny to make Tuna Noodle Casserole.
In this first part Laura talks people's varying perception of her and how there's rarely a middle ground, but the ball really gets rolling on the history of Tuna Noodle Casserole in Laura's life: how this was a favorite in a rotation of tolerable meals, how she herself has updated it, and how Big Casserole was pushing their agenda in every magazine of the time.
The difference of jelly, jams, and preserves gets settled once and for all as well.
