Little League Coach Tanner Pratt is called in and after an unfortunate semi finals loss in the playoffs, we celebrate a successful first season.Tanner tells us about how after a move to where he knew no one he needed something to do, and that something turned into coaching Little League. Graphic Designer Sam Wolfson is called in for this week's episode. Sam did the logo for the podcast, so with the weekly standup show starting July 11th it made sense to go back to him for a poster. The two talk a few ideas and get a rough draft down for a flyer, but only for about 8 minutes way later in the episode. Sam is a V8 engine of personality, and it's a treat to watch him go. He tells us about a run in he had with an ex at his favorite Skeeball bar, and we get the low down on a new sport called "Buoy" that Sam will be playing later this summer in a tournament broadcast on ESPN 8: The Ocho. Eamon is now about 8 months old, and the process of him getting here wasn't the smoothest. Past guest (and my mom) Susan Cascone dials in this week as the guest so her son can give an update on the state of his health. Why not turn it into content? The two talk getting an MRI, the anxiety it caused, and the inconvenience of having only one usable arm. Susan also gives advice on becoming more comfortable with a certain type of doctor, and the two contemplate something Danny heard about "humans acting the way they do because they don't have a natural predator" "Dinner at Your Place?" will continue to ride regardless of the MRI result. We can cook with one arm, and people have stories to share.

Friend and former teacher Emily Blodgett comes by and asks Danny to make Vanilla Cupcakes with Vanilla Frosting. It gets addressed how that's not really dinner and that Emily was just craving cake. Emily has recently switched careers from teaching and after attending one of the rowdier shows Danny has done, she made the comment, "that's what it's like dealing with middle schoolers every day." Emily talks the the history of teaching in her family, what it's like relating to 12 year olds, and that even though she loved it, she was too soft for teaching. Also Emily taught health so you know she had plenty of giggles. Emily is also getting married soon, and the lucky spouse is Danny's old roommate! The two talk Emily's excitement, she shares a bridal budgeting tip, and we get the story of how Emily's mantra "30 seconds of courage" lead to a mortifying first "I love you." Will always saw himself as a shy kid, and struggled with the idea of being gay. Comedian and Actor Dorothy comes by and asks Danny to make Sloppy Joe's.The two keep their off mic conversation going and we start in the thick of it as we hear about Dorothy's frozen dinners growing up and her family's version of the Wendy's "4 for 4" (4 kids by 4 baby daddies). Dorothy then takes us a little deeper and tells us about her mom's passing when she was 10, the anger she felt, and the path she took which lead to some jail time.Dorothy flips it around and talks about how she realized she needed to change, especially when her son came along. Christian also talks about the lack of traditional structure he had growing up, the rebellious side it lead to, and how now he's trying to teach himself discipline. A podcast favorite returns this week both to the studio and to America. Comedian Jason Cordova is back from his honeymoon in Greece and asks Danny to make fried chicken. The two talk about Jason's big day, the tears of joy he let out and how great it felt, as well as some views he never thought he'd see that gave a reboot to his system. With that reboot Jason has realized some things need to change. He gives advice how it's okay for you to grow out of certain situations, places, or even grow out of certain people; you just have to keep growing. Comedian Troy Burditt comes over and asks Danny to make no bean chili with Frito Scoops. Troy talks growing up with picky eaters and mentions a few foods that he didn't even know existed, how market price is a horrible concept to put on a menu, and a seafood tasting memory that caused a stir in the family. Troy then gets into how it has been living with a partner for the first time, gives us a break down between "new fat" versus "old fat", and the emotional rubber-banding of body acceptance. Kim is going on almost 20 years having cut meat out and talks about what lead to that decision (in a not smug way!) She does have cheat days though, especially at a specific time of year that leads to both her and Danny to decide what could potentially be the best sandwich of them all. Kim then gets into a little bit of a past relationship, what makes her happy with a partner, and how even though she's looking for someone she's not looking to settle.Kim wraps it up talking about the Boston Motorcycle scene, how she felt accepted with arms wide open from the first day, and tells a story from her first day riding she'll always remember. Tooky still won't make it for her husband though.Tooky then shifts into talking about her Caribbean heritage and the 2010 Earthquake in Haiti. She talks the the effect it had on her, her family, and how the physical landscape of her childhood has been altered. Comedian Angela Sawyer comes by and asks Danny to make French Toast with some bacon.
