Today, our Pastor begins a new series called “Wisdom Books - Ancient Truth for Modern Lies.” In it, we get a 40,000-foot view of God’s wisdom about suffering, prayer, decisions, love, and perspective. We’ll also see how God designed Scripture so that His truth helps us confront the lies of this world with wisdom and discernment. Today’s message is from “Job” and will speak to how the world tells us that suffering is karma, deserved or due to oppression. The book of Job tells a different story.
