We are back after a brief hiatus with a new episode. One of the big topics of the day are all of the farewell/reunion tours that are causing division of among fan bases. We don't hold back on our opinions. The Ken Burns country documentary has been receiving rave reviews. We used that as a springboard to discuss some of our favorite country songs. As you will hear Chris took exception with some of David's "country" picks.

Help David and Chris celebrate their 100th episode this week. It is hard to believe that a podcast started by two college buddies a few years ago has made it to 100 episodes. Listen as David and Chris discuss how the podcast came to be and some of their favorite memories. To help them celebrate they were joined by Rogers Stevens from Blind Melon. He doesn't give a lot of interviews but he allowed the boys to talk all things Blind Melon for almost an hour. Greg Prato is a well respected music writer who has written books about Shannon Hoon, Soundgarden, and the grunge scene among others. His most recent book Take It Off: Kiss Truly Unmasked is dedicated solely to the post makeup era of Kiss. This book is great read even for the most casual Kiss fan. Greg and David discussed the Kiss in the 80s and talked briefly about some of his other writing projects. Be sure to preorder Take It Off: Kiss Truly Unmasked before it is released on November 19.

This band from Manchester would take the music world by storm with their sophomore album What's the Story Morning Glory?. Lead by the Gallagher brothers Oasis would be the biggest selling band in the U.K. and remain a big concert draw for the next decade. Dave Chamberlin joins David this week to talk about the Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers album ECHO. This is an album that was largely ignored by Petty and his band after it was released. The two Daves get into why this was such a sad and tragic time for the band. Heroin addiction, divorce, and a changing music business all contributed to the dark content of this album. Even with all of that going against it this is still one the brighter moments musically for Petty.

You wanted the best! Well you got David, Chris, and Steve LOL David and Chris have just returned from seeing KISS in Memphis. They talk about the concert then welcome Steve Wright from the Podder Than Hell Podcast to discuss their favorite KISS songs. Steve was a great guest as always.
