Apologize ist keine Hit-Single, meint die Plattenfirma von OneRepublic, als die Band um den Sänger und Songwriter Ryan Tedder den Song 2007 auf ihrem Debüt-Album Dreaming Out Loud veröffentlicht. Das ändert sich mit Timberlands Remix. Der Soundtrack zum Film Keinohrhasen gibt Apologize noch einen extra Kick!
