The Detroit Lions sign defensive back Christian Izien to bolster their secondary, adding depth and versatility. Izien, an undrafted rookie from 2023, gained experience with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, playing in all seventeen games, mostly as a nickel corner. He earned strong grades from Pro Football Focus, particularly in run defense. In his second season, he transitioned to safety, and this past year, he took on a reserve role while contributing on special teams.
