Show Notes
A woman in Guthrie County faces numerous animal neglect charges after police discovered nearly forty animals in deplorable conditions at her rural home. The woman, Claire Marie Faalk, was initially charged with neglect causing serious injury or death to cats, following a welfare check at a temporary caregivers place. The caregiver had taken in thirty-five cats, many of which were severely neglected. A subsequent search warrant at Faalks home revealed eighteen dogs, eleven birds, seven rabbits, two gerbils, and one cat living in filthy conditions, leading to the removal of all animals. Faalks co-owner, Oliver Noah Rutherford, also faces similar charges.
