Iowans are crossing borders to boost sales in these states, where recreational marijuana has generated significant tax revenue. Illinois raked in $1.5 billion in 2025, Missouri averaged $100 million a month since 2023, and Minnesota hit $41.5 million since 2025. Iowa, however, allows limited CBD and THC hemp products and shows no rush for recreational legalization.
