Six US soldiers, including two from Iowa, were killed in an Iranian drone strike at Shuaiba Port in Kuwait. Major Jeffrey O’Brien of Waukee and Sergeant Declan Coady of West Des Moines were among the victims. Both served in the Army Reserve Signal Corps and were part of the Des Moines-based one hundred third Sustainment Command.
