Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds ordered flags at half-staff to honor two soldiers killed in a drone attack in Kuwait. Sergeant Declan Coady from West Des Moines and Major Jeffrey O’Brien from Waukee, both serving with the one hundred third Sustainment Command in Des Moines, lost their lives on March first. The attack also claimed six other Army Reserve soldiers from Minnesota, Florida, Nebraska, and California. The soldiers families and communities mourn their loss, remembering their dedication and kindness. Flags will remain at half-staff until their interments, with no funeral details released yet.
