Bevan Morris, a prominent figure in the Transcendental Meditation movement, passed away at 76 in Fairfield, Iowa. He served as president of Maharishi International University for 36 years, growing the student body from 500 to 2500. He lived at the TM headquarters in Holland but returned to Fairfield for medical care, passing peacefully with friends nearby. Funeral services are planned at the university campus.
