Show Notes
Wilderness Exchange, a beloved outdoor gear shop, is closing after 26 years, but its spirit lives on in Cripple Creek Bike and Backcountry. The new store, opening in late April, will focus on backcountry skiing and biking, offering a specialized selection in a larger, 3700 sq ft space. Owner Doug Stenclik, who expanded during the pandemic, is excited to bring fresh energy to downtown.
