Greeley police shoot and kill knife-wielding man, later discovering he had previously stabbed his brother to death. The incident unfolded when Izaiah Tacoronte, 20, attacked his brother David Tacoronte, 22, at their grandparents house. Officers attempted to block Izaiahs path but he charged at them, resulting in a shooting. One officer sustained minor injuries, and both Izaiah and his brother died at the hospital. The Nineteenth Judicial Critical Incident Response Team is investigating, with involved officers on paid admin leave. Witnesses are encouraged to contact Lead Detective Elijah Howard for information.
