Major Culvert Replacement Project Begins in Fort Collins: East Trilby Road to Close for Two Years
A $2.1 million project to replace a failing culvert under East Trilby Road, between Saint Thomas Drive and Southridge Greens Boulevard, is set to start on March 16th. The project aims to improve drainage, protect the pavement, and ensure reliable travel. East-west traffic on Trilby will need to detour using Harmony Road or Carpenter Road (State Highway 392). The project is expected to wrap up by July 2026, depending on the weather. Trails nearby, including the Power Trail and Fossil Creek Trail, will remain open during construction.
