Highlands Ranch Falcons girls basketball, led by Coach Caryn Jarocki, ended a twelve-year championship drought with a hard-fought Class six A title win over Northfield. The team, filled with freshmen and sophomores, was inspired by Jarockis book club and pep talks. Freshman NaZiah Newbins secured the victory with clutch free throws. Jarocki, known for her tough demeanor, showed a joyful side during the season. The team, now with All-Colorado Coach of the Year honors, will return next season in Class five A, aiming for more success.
