Book Swap Society: A Grassroots Movement for Affordable Reading - Nicole Wiebes Book Swap Society, started in 2022, has grown from a local park event to a popular way for people to exchange books without high costs. Now with eleven chapters in Denver and events in four states, its inviting locals to start their own swaps. In 2025, they hosted 128 events, swapped 7,000 books, and donated 4,000 to local libraries.
