Show Notes
The words you use or don't use can impact whether or not the person with dementia is agreeable to what you are offering. In this episode I break down the reason words are so important and give you ideas for how you can start to change how you refer to things and present things to your person with dementia keeping in mind what you know about them personally.
If there is anything you struggle with getting your loved one to accept, play around with changing how you talk about it and refer to it.
