Dekmantel Podcast 014 - Tasker

Tasker is a London based music obsessive who is very much a modern day tastemaker. As well as hosting his own well respected 88 Transition show on NTS, he is a selector for music discovery platform 22tracks, runs his own label Whities and is co- founder of the Principles night. As such, he very much has his finger on the underground pulse and that feeds into his DJ sets, which take him to clubs and festivals all over Europe. For his Dekmantel mix, Tasker tried to predominantly showcase forthcoming music from his label, as well as new music being made and released by his friends and family. There are also a couple of tracks in there that he simply have been playing a lot this year. The result is a smorgasbord of sounds that touches on his many different passions from bubbling deepness to weird house music via grainy and lo-fi grooves and more besides.
