While most of my experience was in sports talk radio, I did spend some time in the news room.
I share some stories of when I was reprimanded for not selling fear as a traffic reporter. And how a lot of people in news become numb to carnage and death.
This is also a good time to realize that we all, myself included, need to reprioritize our lives. We need to take time away from the media. That means stepping away from our devices.
