Hannah Wants returned to Defected with the emotionally resonant ‘Hold Me’ in February 2025, co-written by featuring vocalist and frequent collaborator ARA. The release followed the major success of their previous Defected single ‘The One’ in 2023, which conquered radio stations and received extensive club play across the UK thanks to its infectious hook and haunting vocals. Described by Hannah as ‘her favourite record to date’, she now reveals the acoustic version of ‘Hold Me’, where the lyrics continue to create cathartic release for the DJ in this reimagining of the club track.
