He was also the Commanding Officer of the Royal Navy’s Submarine Command Course, which is the school for naval officers preparing to take command of a submarine. All in all, Ryan spent 23 years as a submarine officer in the Royal Navy, and I’m excited to have him on the show to talk about the leadership lessons he learned in his career.
