There will be times in our life that we become discouraged and even feel that defeat is on the horizon. There are definitely times we have to recall and remember God's faithfulness and how He has moved and worked in our lives before. There are also times in our lives that we just need a team around us to encourage us, to pray for us, and to hold our hands up in support so that we stay in the proper posture of dependance, surrender and worship unto God. We call come to moments in life where we have a choice to make. Step forward in faith - or become paralyzed by fear. The Israelites found themselves in this very predicament as they were on their journey (their exodus) out of Egypt towards the promised destiny of God. When Egypt came attacking, their response was one we need to see and learn from. Here’s the truth - the very thing Jesus died to free you from (your Egypt) will continue after you, attacking. Every July we have a fun Sunday we call “Student Takeover", where our students lead out and share all God has done through our annual student camp.
