Nothing reveals truth more than a trial. And in my case, a 10-month illness became one of my most unexpected truth-tellers about life, leadership, and especially about friendship.
Because when you're sick, tired, and vulnerable, you learn quickly who's standing with you… and who's simply standing around trying you to "be in the know." You also learn which relationships are built on convenience, and which ones are built on what I call the CIA Test: Courage, Integrity, and Authenticity.
In this episode (unscripted and unedited), I’m sharing what my healing journey reminded me about emotional wholeness—mine and others’. And, how the three traits of CIA became my compass for evaluating connections.
