If you've been within earshot of a cable television in the last 25 years, you've probably heard a promo for one of CBS's reality shows. Since the turn of the new millennium, Survivor, Big Brother and The Amazing Race have maintained a stranglehold over pop culture. But where did these shows come from? And why have viewing audiences kept up with these shows for a quarter century? Turns out it all ties back to the Netherlands and/or the event that made Ford discontinue the Bronco.
