Today we’re joined by bone fide civilian and horn-bag Son Guzzardi. Son shares some awful teen experiences at Catholic school, their early long-term relationship with an older man and then a joyful exploration – and perhaps late adolescence – as a queer person. Son is now married with kids and we talk about how that squares with being – in their words – a ho. Son talks about finding the kink scene and how empowering that was.
We also take some listener calls on non-monogamy, poly and related issues. Finally, we end with a fight about bisexuality and we witness the evolution of The Son from biphobia to open-minded acceptance and also, from their previous codependent ways to valuing autonomy and space. Son is warm, open, funny and very generous in sharing about mistakes they’ve made and how they’ve changed. I absolutely loved this chat and I reckon you will too.
