He has also performed with Steve Miller, Eric Clapton, Bonnie Raitt, Robert Plant, Willie Nelson, ZZ Top, Gary Clark Jr., Doyle Bramhall II, Charlie Sexton and many others. His 2015 solo release THE DRIFTER reached #1 on the iTunes Blues Chart and was described by Rolling Stone Magazine as a "Road trip-worthy record, with Flanigin creating his own version of atmospheric Americiana." After that band fell apart Nick did a little time with the group Shinedown before landing the guitar position with Perry Farrell's Satellite Party. In the past year Nick has been busting his ass writing and recording and touring with his new group The Underground Thieves.
