Show Notes
Nicolle Wallace covers Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s order to the military to leave no survivors on a strike against boats in the Caribbean. Reporting in The Washington Post suggests that current and former members of the military are unsure if all the people on the targeted boat were guilty of drug trafficking —Hegseth’s primary justification for the strikes.
While the Defense Department carries out boat strikes in the name of fighting drug trafficking, Nicolle, Andrew Weissmann, and Former Senator Claire McCaskill discuss Trump’s pardon of former Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernandez. Hernandez was found guilty of shipping “more than 500 tons of cocaine into the United States,” according to The New York Times.
