Show Notes

Aiman’s Dad lived with cystic fibrosis his whole life but she wasn’t aware of it until she was 14 years old and his illness had started getting progressively worse.

After a bad case of pneumonia nearly killed him he came back home to live his final years with his family. Aiman and her Mum became his full-time carers.

In this episode we discuss the power of true friendships, how her family, especially her brother, supported her after her Dad passed and how her loss has shaped her into the woman she is today - including her career as a health care professional specialising in palliative care.

This is a lovely episode highlighting how one open and honest conversation with someone who cares about you can truly help you begin to process your grief and start living a positive and fulfilling life.

I hope you all enjoy this episode!

If you love the podcast I’d really appreciate it if you would leave it a review on whatever platform you’re listening from as it helps me to reach more young people just like us who are grieving the loss of a parent and feeling like they’re alone in what they’re going through.

Thank you so much!
