Genell Gorman is a holistic healing coach. She fell in love with the work she did to heal herself and knew there were so many others fatherless daughters out there who would be struggling with the impact this huge loss had on their lives.
Genell’s Dad passed away when she was just 9 years old and, after going through her teenage years without him, she realised as she got older the detrimental effect not having her Dad around most of her life had had on her mental health and her behaviour and attitude towards life.
In this episode, she speaks about how we can still feel abandoned when our parent dies, even though they didn’t leave us through choice. And how this abandonment can manifest itself into different areas in your life as you grow older. And she gives a great insight into how you can take back control of your life.
