Forty-eight-year-old Bernard Schuler from Moraine, Ohio, was sentenced to forty-two to forty-seven and a half years in prison for a brutal attack on a seventy-six-year-old homeowner in Kettering. The assault, which occurred on February tenth, 2025, involved Schuler tricking his way into the home, holding the victim at gunpoint, and beating him before binding him with duct tape and stealing his belongings.
