Show Notes
Former Cedarville University finance professor, Dr. John Tarwater, faces eight serious sex crime charges against a child, including rape and sexual battery. The alleged acts occurred from 2019 to 2022, with additional charges for times when the victim was under eighteen until 2025. Tarwater was placed on leave and later fired by the university in 2025. In March 2026, a grand jury dropped the charges, but the focus remains on healing and justice. If you or someone you know needs help with sexual abuse, contact RAINNs hotline at 1-800-656-HOPE.
