Ohios New THC Restrictions: A Shift in the Market Ohios new regulations on THC and psychoactive hemp products, effective March 20th, have led to a significant change in the market. Sales are now limited to licensed dispensaries, impacting popular items like THC-infused drinks. Businesses, including bars and breweries, have been forced to clear their shelves, with some, like Arrow Wine and Spirits, selling out quickly. Customers are expressing disappointment, viewing these products as a safer alternative to alcohol. Store managers understand the need for regulation but question the full ban, suggesting these options might be less risky than alcohol. Governor Mike DeWine, who pushed for the change, cited a lack of regulation. The cutoff came earlier than expected due to DeWines line-item veto on Senate Bill fifty-six. A Cincinnati brewery is challenging the state in court, planning to produce more of these beverages than beer this year. The outcome of this legal challenge could significantly impact how these products reach consumers in the future. Support the show:Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
