Fall practice is more than a month away but even in a slow summer season there's plenty of Bulldog football to talk about. Mike Leach and three still-to-be named Bulldogs will appear July 19th at SEC Media Days. A practice schedule has yet to be released. Last year began later than usual, August 11, but is a shorter camp really a problem for players? Mississippi State's staff has eight commitments for the 2023 football roster already. How does this new name-image-likeness era impact commitments though, either the school or prospects? And as he retires from the site which bears his name, a big Bulldog thanks to Gene Swindoll for starting something that has grown into the unofficial voice of Mississippi State sports.
