Mario and Murray: top-twenty ranked Bulldogs take their winning ways to Kentucky
After three home wins 16th-ranked Mississippi State is back on the road for a SEC West vs. East matchup at Kentucky. The Bulldogs have struggled in recent trips to Lexington but are favored in this round.

Three home wins with SEC West victories have pushed Mississippi State up the top-twenty rankings and over .500 in league play. But the Bulldogs are headed to #23 Kentucky where State has not won since Dak Prescott was quarterbacking. SEC-leading passer Will Rogers directs this Dog offense while Kentucky's pro prospect Will Levis is coming off a foot injury. A better ground game is making Mike Leach's air raid more potent, and State is one of the nation's best in both red zone scoring and fourth down conversions. Another matchup to watch is the gambling Dog defense going after the Wildcat offensive front. Both teams are dealing with kicking game issues.
