After a day off Mississippi State resumed preseason practices with a Friday session in full gear. Sophomore wide receiver Creed Whittemore spoke after practice about his growing role in Coach Jeff Lebby's gameplans.

Mississippi State had Thursday off from practicing but Bulldogs came to the Seal Complex anyway for treatment, workouts, and just conversation about camp so far. The work resumed Friday morning in full gear with a similar session scheduled tomorrow. Then on Sunday it's time for the first scrimmage of Jeff Lebby's first preseason in Starkville.
