Ulrich Bräker war Schweizer, doch er geriet in die Armee Friedrichs des Großen. Am 1. Oktober 1756 ist er bei der Schlacht zu Lobositz desertiert. Seine Lebensgeschichte beschrieb er in seinem Buch "Der arme Mann im Tockenburg". Autorin: Brigitte Kohn
